XP printer driver for Windows 2000

I am trying to get a printer driver for the Xerox
WorkCenter 450CP multifunction unit.
Xerox does not list a driver for Windows 2000 for this
unit but does list one for Windows XP.
Does anyone know if the Xerox XP driver will work with
Windows 2000?
I have used some Windows 2000 driver under XP and they
seem to work OK but, I have not tired an XP driver
under Windows 2000.
Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

Don't know about that particular printer driver, but many Windows XP printer
drivers will work on Windows 2000.

Windows XP drivers are always "printer driver model 3", which is also
supported on Windows 2000.

Quite a few Windows 2000 drivers don't work properly on Windows XP, so
you've been lucky so far with that!
