XP out of frequency

i have installed WIN98 & XP Pro when i start XP Pro it
shows the error "Out of frequency" how can solve this
problem help me out. where as WIN98 starts normally.

This is an issue with your video drivers, not with XP. You cannot have the
same drivers for Win98 and WinXP.

Greetings --

Boot into Safe Mode and install the WinXP-specific video drivers
provided by your video card's manufacturer, and then set the display
(resolution, refresh rate, and/or number of colors) to something that
your monitor can handle. Consult both the video card's and the
monitor's manuals for details.

This means you have your video set higher than your monitor can support.
Go into XP's safe mode and change the settings to vga. Then boot into
regular mode and change to something your monitor can support, possibly
800x600. And yes, you need XP drivers for XP, not the ones you used for
Win98, but you still need to set the resolution to something your older
monitor can handle.

Right click Desktop, select Properties, Settings, Advanced,Monitor and
change the 'Screen refresh rate' to a lower figure.
