Hi

My company Ghosts our images on to numerous PC's with one XP license on
the orgianl image, we do not activate the license as we want the
customer to do that. As you know the user has 30 days to activate
windows after installing. We would usually have our images in the
company for 90 days. Is there a way of getting around activation?

If we take out volume licensing, can we then change the license key
back to an individual license key for our customer to use?

Any feedback, comments or refer me to a website welcome

Microsoft has a utility (OPK??) which would allow to generate a XP
installation where the client is required to enter the individual XP key at
the time they start up the PC.

If you use sysprep before making the image it would then ask for the key
when the computer starts.
