XP only shows 4 open windows at bottom

I have just received XP, only 4 windows will show open at bottom of
screen, the next one will be added to one of the 4 windows with a drop
down bar, very annoying, windows 98 allowed me to have 2 rows of 4 each
windows, XP only has one, can I have 2 rows that show open windows in
XP, if so how, thanks.
 
Start>Settings>Taskbar and start menu>Taskbar.

Uncheck "Lock Taskbar" then drag the taskbar to double size or greater.

BTW......this is not an Excel question. I think you're in the wrong group.

also uncheck "group similar taskbar buttons"
