XP on a domain sharing a printer

XP SP2 workstation on a domain.
Can happily conenct to other shares, but when its local printer is shared to
the domain, others cannot connect.

Actually they cant even connect to the \\pcname they get permission is
denied.

I have checked the local policy , turned on / off the guest account /
simple file sharing. double checked permissions on shares. used suggested
registry fixes, removed and reisntalled file and print sharing.

Problem remains and is consistant. theres about 20 PC's on the network and
this one is the only one who wont play nicely.

Any ideas?

Oh yea and its not a firewall issue, i turned that off.

Well remember XP Pro only has 10 connections anyway, so not all the PCs will
be able to see it.

Yes well currently theres ZERO connections because everyone gets permission
denied when attempting to connect.
