Hi everyone,

I currently have winXp Pro and for some reason XP XP no longer stores
credentials; for example, I used to be able to connect to my router and I had
the 'remember password' box checked off now i'm required to put a password in
each time... the same goes for other website that use the windows username a
password to grant access to the site....

I checked local security and ot is correct...

I have enable password forms in IE7 checked off

How do I allow window to remember my username and password???

There can be anumnber of reasons for this, though I get the feeling that IE7
itself may be the reason, there are a lot of reported problems with it.

Give Firefox a try, and you probably won't go back anyway.

Have you tried this?

Click Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete > Settings,
and put check marks in the two "passwords" boxes.

If that doesn't help, I suggest posting your question in news group
