XP Menu

Some programs I use have a white menu in XP. I have my PC set to WIN 9x look. My menus turn white and stay like that. When I put my mouse over it, it turns white and stays like that is there an XP theme that this doesn't occure besides the WIN 9x - 2000. I want to use the XP look but i want to have my computer look right also. Used 98 since it came out until X-MAS 2003. I'm used to WIN 98 style menus. I use WINXP MCE (Media Center) that uses WINXP PRO. All MS Office 2003 apps work as they should but all WIN 98 programs i use have this white menu. I have TWEAK UI and this doesn't have a setting for this. What should I do? Thanks in advanced.

If you are referring to all menus and not just the start menu, the answer is
no.

I fixed the problem by switching themes. This changed it from white to a
blue when opening and went how it should when i closed the menu. Thank you
all for replying.
