Hi, I've installed a Win2003 Server (standard edition
with Active Directory enabled) a few weeks ago and all
works well except that one WinXP (Prof) machine cannot
connect to the Win2003 Server's shared drive and printers.
All the other machines (including WinXP ones) connect to
the server fine. The Server can see the problem XP
machine fine. The problem XP machine can see all the
other machines fine except the Win2003 Server.
The interesting thing is I can look at the Security Event
Log on the Win2003 Server and I can see that the problem
XP machine does logon successfully. But on the XP
machine the response to a network connect is always a
failure!
I have been through the security systems on both machines
from top to bottom and cannot find anything else
to 'play' with.
Anybody got any clues on where to look?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Kind regards
