I have a networked database that refers to a separate MDW
file to open an encrypted secure MDB back end. The users
on the Win98 system and manny users of XP are able to
access this linked database using the credentials of the
login with no problem. Additionally, their main login is
on Novel Netware 4.83
I now have 2 users who when logged onto the system through
Novel, are UNABLE to even see the links that point to the
back end, (No matter who logs in using the MDW
credentials)
I have even made both users that I'm testing -
Administrators on the workstation, but when I'm signed on
as the other person, I cannot access the linked database.
Does anyone know what in XP would keep a user from being
able to open a linked database vs that same user who can
open it in Win98?
