XP loading forever

Yesterday my computer crashed, and when I tried starting it up after, it
wouldn't. Everything was normal untill the loading screen came, which kept
loading forever. The computer grew quiet, but it wouldn't go on.

I tried starting it in safe mode, which worked, but couldn't fix the problem
- everything looks ok, exept that it won't start. Got any idea of what it is,
what I can do?

today I started at 11:05 a.m. (est) it is now 4:15 p.m. (est) and it is still
not done I'm trying to find an answer to the problem when I get the answer
i'll e-mail it to you I believe that the amount of information from xp pro is
very large and it is taking forever to install
