xp loaded, now unable to view scripts (java?)

I just upgraded from WinME to WinXP, and
ever since have been unable to view parts
of webpages... running scripts such as
JAVA, I believe.

Hi,
Are you talking about XP professional or XP embedded?
If it is XP Embedded, you will have to add Java VM as a
separate component, probably run as a FBAGeneric command.

We don't really deal with home/office versions of XP here, but I would
imagine that your browser is set to not allow java.
