xp language change

i have a pre-installed french version of xp home,can i do anything to change
the system into english or do i have to purchace a Full version in english to
install??? help please??

You are 100% correct. In order to have English as the language one must
start with an English language version of XP.

There are various versions, designed for different regions: such as
International English, US English and UK English.
