I have two or more USB devices hooked up to receive rfid unique codes
from tags. Works well with readings going into a Excel spreadsheet,
all in same column.


Is it possible to insert a identifying code for each reader as a
suffix or prefix on the code going into Excel ? Say a virtual
keyboard, or usb multi port, with usb readers plugged into it and then
send on with the suffix to PC. It may involve
additional hardware?


XP doesnt identify the USB readers.

These reader are specialised devices that read "tags." The driver
read the tags and convert the tag code into keystrokes. You would need
to contact the wedges' manufacturer for this "feature," if possible.
