XP irewall

I am using the XP Firewall, it doesn't load each itme I boot up. Is there a
way to keep it on when I reboot?

Am used to seeing lil icons in sys tray when something is running.

It does load, it just doesn't have a systray icon like Zone Alarm. The
security center systray icon will appear if the firewall fails to load.

Most other software has a "lil" icon, surprised MSFT doesn't follow the lead
here but tks for ans.
