xp-intel graphics conflict

When running the software check to see if I could up grade
to XP the report said that the Intel Graphics Technology
software was incompatible with XP Home. Whats the fix,and
or will XP work on my computer? I have that nasty OS ME.

I also have Intel graphics, but my system has the Extreme Graphics 82845G
and my Jetway motherboard's driver CD has XP Intel Extreme graphics
drivers on it.
