XP Installer

[Losing It]

Everytime I boot (using WindowsXP Home Edition) the
Windows Installer launches and tries to install Word
(which is already installed). What is wrong?

You did not say what version of office you were using. Is
it 2000 or XP? Office 2000 service pack 3 will fix that
problem if that's what you're using. If you're using
office XP, you need to search microsoft's support site to
see if there's a fix for it. I do believe that there is a
service pack for Office XP out there.
