xp installation failure

Re-installed XP over the existing version - now getting 7B
error message on boot attempt. Only error msg during
install as "unregmp2.exe - process entry point - GetIUMS
no located in msdart.dll"
PC won't boot now. Anyone have any ideas on how to get
out of this?

whether it will work for you or not but you maty try :-
'Try holding down the <ctrl> key and clicking the OK button repeatedly'
