I read in a magazine that it is possible to make a copy of WinXP that
includes all the updates from SP2 so you can install all in one sitting; So
no installing XP and then installing SP2 after - just one install process.
The magazine included DOS scripts to copy the relevant files etc, however
this script was either incorrect or incomplete. Any ideas please?

Make a new Windows XP CD with SP2 slipstreamed.

Either one of the following utilities makes slipstreaming
(integrating) SP2 into Windows XP a breeze:

or

AutoStreamer 1.0.33 (preferred)
