XP IE Pics don't all show

Sometimes when I go to this or that web page, the pics don't show,

just the "x" placeholder. This happens espeically if there are a lot

of pics onthe page. Reloading thepage often helps. What's going on?

Is there some kind of timeout setting that can help get all the pics

the first time the page is loaded?

using XP Pro, all up to date.

The behavior you describe is not a problem of Windows XP or Internet
Explorer, but a problem with the websites your are visiting.
