Hi Guys,

I have Windows XP Professional installed on my D: drive
and Windows 2000 on my C: drive. The file system is FAT32.
My issue is that when I connect my computer to internet
using Windows XP, I cannot enable my XP Firewall. Because
the properties --> Advanced tab doesn't allows me to do
that. Instead, there is an error message that somewhat
says
"ICF cannot be enabled because your Windows Management
Instrument is corrupt. To resolve this restore your System
to an earlier point. System Restore can be accessed
through Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Sytem
Tools --> System Restore."

But there are no points in System Restore.

Any help on this is muchly appreciated as I do not want to
connect to the internet without enabling my XP ICF.

regards
David

Well, if there are no restore points, the best option is to reinstall XP on that partition. My only question is do you have System Restore disabled, or are you that short on available harddrive space?
