XP Home wont make ASR diskette

I'm running Windows XP Home SP2 AVG antivirus: It Will Do the ASR backup, but
DOES NOT create the recovery diskette.
How to create a recovery diskette?
 
ahhh.... Even though when I run the backup program it tells me it will need
a diskette for the backup!! that's brilliant!!
