I am having trouble with KB928366, for .net1.1

I have followed the instructions for an answer I got a few days ago, which
suggested I remove .net1.1 and then reinstall it.

I cant remove it because it says that the "installation source is not
available" and it wont install using the download, saying "installation
failed contact the supplier"

The updates still exist in my system tray, and every time I shut the machine
down it tells me there is something about to install, but of course it sits
for a while then shuts off.

Any idea what I should try next

Try to remove the folders manually or use this tool:
http://www.ccleaner.com to remove the >Net Framework and clean the temp,
also try to increase your Temp folder size or move it to another directory
then move back to the default directory.

Thanks this worked for me.
I used the tool, to uninstall .net 1.1. It didn't seem to actually get rid
of it, as Add/Remove programs still thought it was there, but it did then
allow me to re-install .net 1.1 and .net 1.1 Hotfix back onto my machine.

The update then completed successfully.
