XP Home: Task Scheduler

Wait State

Have set up XP Task Scheduler - from my account - to perform overnight maintenance tasks.

Have three accounts, full access, no passwords (not necessary, family, adults, computer-literate).

Scheduler will not perform tasks:

"The scheduled task did not run because no user account password was entered"

Have also tried with entering and confirming a password. Does not work either.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Thank you. I modified the register, as recommend, and the scheduled tasks
executed:

Except Disk Cleanup. When I execute it manually it goes thru two OK
screens. Is that why it does not execute automatically via the Task
Scheduler?

Other questions (I just installed XP):

After I reinstalled MS Office, the spell checker worked fine, in Word,
but not in Outlook Express, message: "An Error occurred while
the Spelling was being checked".

Apart from a few glitches, which are being resolved, XP runs nicely,
stable and faster than 98SE. I first shrunk my 98 HD (with
Partition Magic), then installed XP which created a dual-boot setup.
After a
few reboots, I could no longer boot into 98,
but I can see and copy its files, so I do not longer care about 98. My
XP setup and tweaking is more or less complete and it's
becoming time to remove W98SE, but how?

My version of Partition Magic does not work with XP.

I do not seem to be able to get into DOS. So I cannot FDISK the old
partition away in that manner.

Is it safe to format the W98 partition (C:) from from XP (E:)?

Is there a way to unite all the HD space under XP, i.e., without
buying a new version of Partition Magic? Both logical drives are
FAT32.

Thank you,
