XP Home requires activation after restart

This just started about a week ago. When XP home SP2 is started the
activation windows appears and xp requires activation. the process goes
through with no problems until the next restart then the activation windows
reappears and the activation process must be repeated. No hardware has been
changed and this is a legal copy bought at Circuit City. Any ideas?

I have the same problem but in my case my WPA.DLL
is being destroyed randomly. Do you know what might
cause that?
