XP Home repair install. Cannot install SP2

I have just upgraded my motherboard. I was unable to boot XP (Home) until I
did a repair installation. Now I can boot into XP. I have let all of the
automatic updates run (about 20 of them), but my system still reports
"Version 2002" and a number of SP2 features (eg. firewall) are not present.

I have been unable to download SP2 from the MS website, because it seems to
only be available through Windows Update, which I have already run.

I don't seem to be able to find SP2 on any of my disks at home.

How can I "force" XP to install SP2 (if this is what is needed)?
