XP Home Product Activation Expired

I have WINXP Home installed on my computer but I never
had internet access. Recently I was having DSL installed
(FINALLY!!) and now when my pc starts up it's asking me
to activate the product. I can't activate over the
internet because I don't have internet as yet and I can't
activate over the phone because it's a product I
downloaded from MSDN. And since I can't activate the
product my system shuts down.

Is there any other way to get around this activation
issue without having to format my hard drive and re-
install? I've checked knowledge Base and have no luck in
finding anything.

I hope someone can help!

Thanks!!

Assuming you bought the product then you need to activate via the phone if
you don't have internet access. If you didn't purchase the license the hard
luck I suspect.

I'm wondering... how did you download it from MSDN if you didn't have
internet access, and if you had internet access to download, how come
you didn't activate it???

If you downloaded it legitimately from MSDN (which you can't have done
without internet access, unless you mean installed - from a legitimate
MSDN CD or DVD) and got an MSDN Product Key to use in the install
(again needing Net access) , then you can activate by phone. Or you can
do a format and new setup, which will have the usual 30 days to get it
done
