XP Home HP backup partition...how do I transfer to a larger harddr

Guidance to a "how to" would be a big help. I am wondering if I could get
the XP onto a Sata harddrive.This is probably answered in the HP website but
I have asked in the forums there 4 weeks ago and have had no respnse. Perhaps
the subject is too old.
 
Do you mean replace your current hd with a sata drive or do you mean
something else?
And in your subject you refer to backup partition??????

You really need to be more clear as to what you want to do
