I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO UNINSTAL MY XP HOME EDITION ON MY
PC. I WILL THEN RELOAD. I THINK MY FIRST INSTALATION WAS
DIRTY AND I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE. I HAVE
NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO UNINSTAL AND THEN
INSTALL IT CLEANLY. PLEASE HELP.

Insert your CD and follow instructions. You may have to change your bios to
boot from the CD first.

Hi

Please turn Caps Lock off - it makes messages very hard to read. Have a
look at the following articles by MVP Michael Stevens:

"How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install"
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

"Clean Install Windows XP"

Hi, Nick.

In case it's not obvious from the other replies, there is no need (and no
way, really) to "uninstall" WinXP. When you boot again from the WinXP
CD-ROM and clean install WinXP, the reformat automatically wipes the disk
clean of whatever was on it before - including the former WinXP.
