You cannot join a Domain (Whether it be NT4, Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
using XP Home. You need PRO for that.
Using XP Home, you can enter domain credentials, save them in a Keyring, and
use it to connect to a machine in the Domain. But you won't have per-user
authentication etc. to your own machine. The experience is approximately the
same as with Win9x/ME when connecting to Domain resources.
