It's not a big deal but when I installed Windows XP Service Pack 2, The
loading screen that writes Windows XP Home Editon doesnt show Home Editon.
Also Is LAN internet supposed to be slow.

The same is true of XP Professional. It's by design and not a
problem. Microsoft apparently now prefers it this way and changed
it.

The splash screen now only says "Windows XP" for all versions. This is
by design. As for your slow Internet, make sure you only have one
firewall enabled. If you have a third-party firewall, turn off the
Windows Firewall in Control Panel. Make sure any specialized software
you may run from your ISP is updated. I haven't seen any difference in
lan or Internet behavior here, but since you didn't give any details
about your network and/or Internet connections, it's not possible to
give a specific answer. Post back to this thread with details if you
want more help.

Hello,

I agree with the slow LAN I have noticed a slight drop, just transferring
between two networked computers I can only get about 50 to 60 mb/s where I
would get 80+ before..... not that's its a big issue but I just though I
would mention it.
