XP hangs when on the internet

Since installing SP2 when I am on the internet the computer hangs and will
start only with reset button. I thought it might be a problem with I.E. BUT I
installed netscape and had the same problem. This only seems to happen
on less secure sites i.e. this morning on MS sites never crashed once in 4
hours
but other times it will hang every 10-15 minutes
