XP hangs during logon

After recently installing a win2000 Server, 2 of my Win
XP Pro boxes hangs right after the logon screen where is
is loading and applying personal settings, any
suggestions? Before the server we had a win2000 pro as
our server and everything was fine also the other XP
boxes are working fine

I would check the DNS settings first. also make sure profiles are not
damaged.
