XP Guest Account

Hello:

I have a computer room that I have been using windows 98se in. This room is
basically a general use room for all visitors to our resort.

I have tweaked the registry with a tool and other manual adjustments to
really lock down the system and well as hide drives and remove power from cd
and floppy drives.

Basically the users can surf the web but not download any files weather
requested or from active x. They can not view attachments nor can they get
to any of the windows folders, install or uninstall any programs or make any
personal settings. They are basically limited to surfing the internet and
reading web based email.

If I replace the machines with XP am I going to have to do all of these
tweaks to the machines or can I simply password protect my account and the
administrator account and make a guest account for the general public to use
and this will keep them from messing up the machines including installing or
removing any programs or other harmful stuff?

Thanks
