Had a problem with xp on a samson r40 laptop.
In the end reinstalled using their disc.
Thought all would be lost but there are programs I installed in the programs
folder but not in the "all programs" start menu or showing in the add
/remove of control panel. My user name was different last time if that's of
any consequence. Also "my docs" survived.
What's happening and how do I get the programs to show on the start menu?
Now an easier one....Need to change the keyboard layout slightly...@ is " at
the moment. Annoying when typing in email addresses. Did it before but can't
remember how.
Any help appreciated...Keep it like me..Simple.
