XP Freezes during file copy from RIS

During the file copy portion of XP SP1 setup from a RIS server the machine
freezes. Out of the dozen times we tried, 3 times it worked fine, the rest
froze at different points in the setup, usually while coping files. I have
a 100 mb switched network and the machine and RIS server are on the same
subnet. Any ideas?

Right now 1 machine at a time, this is just testing. Yes these are the same
machines, the way we have gotten around the "mutex" error is by using the
RIS Boot Floppy instead of PXE. The nics in these machines are Realtek
8139's on an integrated Microstar MB.
