Hi:
Every time I start the computer, the WIN32 folder pops
up. This started happening right after I cleaned up what
I thought were junk files.

There is no error message or anything, but I remember
running "sfc" on earlier versions of windows to check the
integrity of the operating system.

Is there anything similar to SFC for XP?

Thanks, Adam

Insert your XP cd and once it shows the Start-up screen EXIT

Then Start-Run and type in exactly "sfc /scannow" without the "" but with
the space between sfc and /.
