Employee using Win XP Professional. Working OK buy then
message showed

Process System process terminated unexpectedly with a
status o
The system has been shut down.

Finally got to a window and I get the "System low on
virtual memory.....Click OK to ..."

Clicked OK

Then "Application failed to initialize properly
(0x000012d). Click Ok to terminate.

I clicked OK and it kept shutting me out. Rebooted
several times and then when I did not OK to terminate, I
got my desktop.

Went into Norton 2004 and all files were corrupted. Told
to uninstall Norton and reinstall. Went to install and it
would not go past a ccSetup error saying that I did not
have permission to proceed. Hit cancel (several times
again after uninstall started again) and then it told me
that Norton was uninstalled. Went to install and it says
that the previous was not installed, do so. But I can't
find anymore to uninstall.

HELP PLEASE! What do I do!

75% of what? I thought 75% of all computer knowledge was smoke and mirrors.

"Bummer Dude! You got a DELL!"

If Kelly's suggestion doesn't help and if this is a Dell pre-install I
strongly suggest you nuke it and do a clean install of the OS. Dell is
particularly bad about shipping really flakey pre-installs of Windows
and the only sure-fire cure we've found is to start over. Either that or
spend the rest of your career (or the life of the hardware, which ever
terminates first) troubleshooting one stupid problem after another. I
don't usually go along with the "format and re-install" school of
thought for curing everything, but I do make an exception in the case of
Dell pre-installs.
