XP Error

XP Home. Right click on my computer and select properties
returns the error: "Procedure entry point
RemoteAssistancePrepareRestore could not be located in
the dynamic link library winsta.dll".

At least you get something, my whole system hangs when I
right click on My Computer

There are two main things here. First is make sure you don't have some type
of virus or trojan. There are several that can cause an error like this.
The other thing is there could just be a problem with System Restore. Right
click on sr.inf in your Windows\inf directory and choose install. It will
ask for your CD.
