XP error! Why do the prgrams i execute don't appear on the "task b

Hi i'm from Venezuela i've got some dificulties using my pc cause when i
execute a program, the icon of the executed program it doesn't appear on the
tasks bar and it's really uncomfortable for me to allways use the ALT+TAB
keys.. please help!

i'm using windows xp home edition (original) SP2 ... thanx

(Hey if u can aswer me in spanish i would be grateful)
