My computer keeps rebooting itself (occasionally locks up)
with following files in error report:

c:\windows\minidump\mini051304-01.dmp
c:\docume~1\jphipps\locals~1\temp\wer1.tmp.dir001
\sysdata.xml

Occasionally the system will do a file scan at startup,
but no corrupt files are found. Any comments or ideas?

Thank you.

You need to post the error message, the filename where the dump is is no
help at all. have a search you can tell the system not to automatically
reboot so you can read the error message on the BSOD.

By the symptoms you describe, your system needs a cleaning
Delete cookies, temporary inter files and a lot of other jun
you have accumulated. Run Disk cleane
All Programs/Accessories/System tools/disk cleaner.

That is bollocks, the fact that a system rebootsand locks up could be down
to 100 causes, and is certainly is not enough to say that means temp files
need cleaning!
No harm in doing it but low chances of success.
