XP driver updates disabled internet access

My husband just downloaded about 15 driver and other updates, not any critical updates, and now he has lost all access to our LInksys wireless network. He has XP Professional on a Dell Inspirion

Since he cannot access the internet --- although we have not tried dial up yet --- we can't see what drivers he downloaded to disable them, if he can

Can anyone advise

accessories
system tools
system restore

on the calendar for the date it should show what was
installed

also try driver rollback for the ethernet card in device
manager
