XP Clean Install HELP!

I need to reformat my C: drive (120 GB). I installed a secondary drive F80
GB) and backed up my files. I started through the instructions at
michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html and came upon a problem at STEP
10. The program wants to switch my drive designations. I'm supposed to
choose the 120 GB drive to delete then reinstall XP but it is now F:!! Do I
have to physically remove my secondary drive before I reformat C:?

Usually helps - just remove the cable till xp is installed on the new c:
drive - then make sure u set the old c: drive to f: (properties) or
something - leave cd as e:
