Hi,

My Win 2000 domain has a security setting to lock out the
user (for 30min) after three incorrect attempts at
logging on.
However if a user logs-on when offline with cached
credentials this restriction no longer applies. The local
security settings do not have the relevant options.

Is there a way to stop infinate attempts at logon with
the cached credentials?

Regards

Robert

Hi

Cached credential logons are a on/off thing only.

The only way to stop the user from logging on with cached credentials
is to disable cached credentials logon all together.

Thanks,

I was afraid of that.
