XP bootable

I just build a system in AMD.
I have a
1) XP
2) XP with SP2

The (1) is not bootable but (2) is bootable.
So I think my system is alright.

Howver, I put these 2 CDs into my old system (PII 350), both are bootable.
Any idea ?

You probobly dont have Remote Boot Service installed on one system.
I hope this will help.

My idea is: if your CD Drive take a delay while reading your bootable cd then
it will make a skip and you will think that it is not bootable.

Further, it also depends, how you are checking the CD. You should check both
of the CDs by setting the First Boot Device - CDROM and see if the system
read them after the POST screen.
