XP backup

I have Windows XP Pro installed and make use of a spare hard disk to back up
my system using XP's own Backup utility,there is a schedule set to kick in
every Thursday midnight to backup my system. Question how do I get rid of
this dam schedule ? I really should have set the schedule for once a month
instead of once a week but I can't see any way to permanently cancel this
weekly backup.
