XP automatically mapping drives of server UNC path

We have an issue where when we left or right click on a folder on
\\FVSRV1\DevSupt (which by the way is a Windows 2000 Server), the desktop
machine will appear to hang, but upon looking in "My Computer" I see that the
same UNC path is mapping itself repetitively over and over with any
remaining free drive letters. On the FSNODE1 server itself(\\FSNODE1 is the
physical parent server of the cluster resource \\FVSRV1), nothing appears to
be wrong and no strange issue mapping drives occurs, no weird events show in
the logs. I wouldn't even know how to accomplish this if I tried. Attempted
access=mapped drives to remaining drive letters.

Oddly enough though, if I attempt to go though \\FSNODE1\K$\DevSupt no
problems. Also the folder next to DevSupt, Presentations, has some music and
other components of PowerPoint and whenever we go to \\FVSRV1\DevSupt share
via the UNC path, the window changes to "Music Tasks" for all the folders
even though there are no immediate media files at that level.

Real path \\fsnode1\k$\DevSupt\apps
\DevSupt (touching this
causes the issue)
\JADA.TMP
\Presentations

Virtual path share \\fvsrv1\DevSupt=\\fsnode1\k$\DevSupt

I've attempted to not give too much detail as things like this can easily
become very convoluted. I am very willing to add addtional info if needed.

The issue has been resolved. The share, when viewed from just putting the
path \\fvsrv1 and right clicking on the DevSupt share and viewing Properties,
the Customize tab was set to Music for "Use this folder type as a template:"
Some interaction between the Presentations folder which had a desktop.ini in
it and WMP was to blame for the mapping of the drives.
