Hi,

i have a problem with Norton Internet Securtiy 2003. Hope somebody is able
to give me proper guidance.

I am using Windows XP and i am trying to install Norton security.

it starts installing and then suddenly shows "rooling back action" and then
it disappears.

Earlier i was able to install.

I have installed this when i was using FAT 32 system and now i have changed
to NTFS system.

Does changing to NTFS system affects the installation of NIS 2003?

Any solutions?

thank you

Chinni:

You might remove NIS (&NAV?) then reinstall.

Get the following from symantec.com:
NIS removal utility: RNIS.EXE
NAV 2003 removal utility: Rnav2003.exe

Hello,

I have NIS 2003 on XP and have had no problems but maybe
changing from FAT32 to NTFS changed the MSdos.sys file.
In any case here Symantec's view on the "rolling back
action" you described. I just went to their web site and
put the search field the words "rolling back action."

Hope this helps!
