XP and firewalls on a network

L

Leonel Cete

Ive got a Winxp box on a 2003 domain. The XP machine has 2 nics, one to the
local network and the other connected to the internet. The xp machine is
providing internet connectivity to all clients and has a firewall installed.
( Kerio 5.17) I know the firewall is configured corectly, as ive got a few
running machines with this firewall running on win2000 on other networks,
without a problem.
The problem here is when i try and map any ports ( eg: outlook web access )
im not able to get a response. For some reason the external nic is not able
to pass the traffic through. I suspect that it may have to do with the
routing table.
Can some help, this is the first time im using a XP to do this, and i know
it not got anything to do with the firewall. WIN2K works fine. Are there
limitations on XP..
Thank you
