XP and 2K on same system

Hi - i just bought Acc2K2 developers handbook -
want to use the CD but mdbs are 2K2
I'm running Access 97 and 2K on my system now.
wanted to ask before i try and install 2K2 also
since 97 and 2K gave me so much trouble.
