XP and 2000 on a home LAN

I have a Windows-2000 and a Home-XP on a Linksys Wireless-G at home. I only
use the wired plugs. From my 2000, I can ping my Home-XP and I see it in my
Microsoft Windows Network. When I click on the Home-XP icon, a popup says
"\\Home-XP is not accessible. There are currently no logon servers available
to service the logon request". What's wrong? Thanks guys.

Please provide ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Identify operating system (by name and version) with each ipconfig listing.

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

At least one of your computers seems to be set for a domain.
Reconfigure it to use a workgroup and give both computers the
same workgroup name for convenience.
